BOARD CERTIFIED BEHAVIOR ANALYST (BCBA)
Kristy is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst(BCBA) and has experience working with individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder and other developmental disabilities. She completed her Master of Exceptional Student Education with Applied Behaviour Analysis,University of West Florida, Pensacola, FL after graduating with Bachelor of Science in Psychology from University of Central Florida, Orlando, FL.
Kristy is dedicated to providing Behavior Consultancy to the families with the best support. She enjoys supporting clients to develop independence in their personal care and communication skills but is also passionate about the development of social skills. She has experience in implementing Behavior Plan of Intervention (BPI) and working as part of a multidisciplinary team.
Kristy collaborates and communicate with client’s families to make positive impacts on their client’s behaviour and treatment needs by chairing team meetings, training/educating family members, working collaboratively with community professionals, identifying and developing necessary supports for the child and providing Positive Behavior strategies to address maladaptive behaviors.
