Tommy started his career working with children in 2007 during his studies at Simon Fraser University. He has since earned a BA in Psychology with a concentration in autism from SFU, an advanced certificated in disability and ABA from Douglas College and an MA in special education from Arizona State University.
Tommy values his 4 years of experience working as an education assistant in both public and private school settings and attributes this portion of his career to his current passion for classroom behavior. Tommy also has special interests in the domains of social skills training, life skills training and functional communication training. He is known for having a bright and playful teaching style which helps him develop positive relationships with learners of all ages.
Tommy is dedicated to the ethical and safe practice of behavior therapy. He acknowledges the individual learning styles of all of his clients and strives to create curriculums that address the unique needs of each learner. Tommy is currently working as a Behavior Consultant in Surrey and Delta location of Symbiosis.
