At Symbiosis Pediatric Therapy, we understand that navigating Autism Funding in British Columbia can feel overwhelming for families. Behaviour Consultation in Surrey for children with autism, ADHD, Developmental delays, and Behavioural challenges.
Our Behavior Consultants/BCBAs develop programs which are clinically driven and utilize procedures that have been developed after working with children and research-based.
Occupational Therapy
Symbiosis Occupational Therapist works on sensory processing, and motor skill difficulties in children

Behaviour Consultant and Analyst services provide support to children with Autism, ADHD, emotional regulation challenges, and behaviour concerns at home as well as in school.
Behavior consultants provide personalized, evidence-based strategies to improve communication, social skills, self-regulation, routines, and positive Behaviour outcomes while supporting families every step of the way.
The Social Skills program is run by our Symbiosis Speech Therapists and Occupational Therapists for children with autism, ADHD, and communication or peer-interaction challenges.

Step by step Process

Intake interview
The initial interview is conducted either by our Behavior Consultant, OT, SLP or Clinic Coordinator. The purpose of this interview is to collect basic information about

Assessment
The assessment is recommended for children who are referred for our services for the first time. The assessment requires an appointment involving interviews

Customized Therapy plan
Following assessment, an intervention plan consisting of findings, recommendations and strategies

Intervention sessions
Intervention sessions are generally scheduled based on the need of the child. The session includes initial planning

Regular follow-up and meetings
Regular meeting with the parents and collaboration are done with other professionals involved with the child.

Do you offer in-person behaviour and autism support at Symbiosis Pediatric Therapy clinics?
Yes, we provide in-person behaviour services, including Behaviour Consultancy and Behaviour Intervention, apart from the Autism support services as needed by the families in all of our clinic.
Do you help with Autism funding, At Home funding or Variety children’s grants for families receiving services at Symbiosis Clinics?
We can guide families regarding any available funding pathways and service planning services in our clinic.
The Autism Funding program in British Columbia will
transition to a new program. Until then, the Autism Funding program continues
unchanged and is accepting new applications until March 2027. Families will be

The At Home Program is designed to support children and
youth with severe disabilities and complex health care needs. The
program provides a range of medical equipment and services for eligible

How often should my child attend therapy?
Frequency depends on your child’s goals, needs, and family schedule. We can recommend a personalized plan after the initial intake as well after the assessment by the respective therapist accordingly
